Caseshop - Advice on Cases

When deciding upon a case for your application, there are a few things to consider to ensure you are meeting the correct case solution.

  • Is the case for protection, presentation or promotion?
  • Are the components needing to be in a customised foam interior?
  • Do you need corporate identification for example: labels, screen printing, etching or embossing?
  • How many cases will you need in the beginning and ongoing?
  • How should the case look for example: modern, innovative, ergonomic, traditional, heavy-duty?
  • Is the case going to be used often and will it need wheels for easy mobility?
  • Will the case be carried in the back of a car or sent via carrier in a van or even in the hold of an aircraft?
  • How much weight is the contents going to be?
  • Should the case meet certain size or weight requirements for example: air travel?
  • Where does the case need to go? Remember that storage areas in cars have awkward access areas that the case needs to fit through.
  • Who is carrying the case and how easy will it be to move around?
  • Should the case be lockable or tamper evident?
  • What kind of budget do you have for the case or cases?
  • What colours would be best for your case?
